What is Low Impact Paintball?
Traditional paintball uses a .68 caliber paintball. Low impact paintball uses a .68 caliber paintball, which is much smaller. This means it has way less impact when you are hit, about like the snap of a good rubber band. It also uses a smaller gun, which makes it easier for younger kids to handle.

Why Low Impact paintball?
At Indy Paintball Battleground near Indianapolis, we offer Low Impact Paintball for ages seven and up. Low impact paintball isn’t just for kids – we have lots of adults that want the thrill of paintball without that impact of traditional paintball.
We use .68 caliber low impact markers. This gun shoots 160-180 fps (compared to 300 fps for traditional paintball). The .68 caliber low impact paintballs are 100% biodegradable, non-staining, non-toxic and easily washed away with water.
